Flavour Profile

Well…where do we start with this one! Obviously this was always going to be a challenge as Boerewors has an extremely strong following and almost had a cult status amongst hardened Boerewors connoisseurs. To develop this recipe we worked closely with many South Africans here and in South Africa… over many late night phone calls! We had a fair idea of the flavours needed and the grind and meat ratios had to be spot on. We have achieved all of these and are extremely proud to be able to offer a truly sensational Boerewors. Made with sheep casings, these bangers won’t dry out and are easy to cook for pros and amateurs alike. Serve on a cutting board as a whole sausage and use as the centre feature at gatherings. Let everyone grab a chunk and enjoy. Goes exceptionally well with pickles and super fresh brioche buns with lashings of butter.
